Bible Study Courses
At the North Main church of Christ, we are dedicated to helping you grow in your knowledge of God’s Word. One way we do this is by offering free Bible study courses that guide you through the Scriptures and help you understand what God and His Son Jesus Christ teach us about the creation, the history of HIs people, salvation, obedience, the church, and living according to God’s will.
The theme of our bible study courses is taken from the prophet Isaiah. In Chapter 1, verse 18 Isaiah quotes his revelation from God: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord…”
This statement reveals the gracious character of God. It shows that He does not demand blind submission, but invites thoughtful reflection. To “reason together” suggests that God appeals to your mind and conscience, calling you into a dialogue where His wisdom, justice, and mercy can be understood.
The Bible encourages diligent study:
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15, NKJV)
You are also reminded of the consequences of neglecting His truth:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6, NKJV)
